ABSTRACT
Abdominal aortic aneurysms, renal cell carcinomas and crossed fused renal ectopias are significant conditions within the fields of vascular and urological surgery. The simultaneous occurrence of all three is exceptionally rare; to date, there have been no reports of them occurring concurrently. This case, however, describes what we believe to be the first documented case of all three conditions presenting simultaneously in a single patient. The management of this rare case involved a combined surgical approach, including open aneurysm repair and partial ectopic nephrectomy.
