ABSTRACT
Takotsubo cardiomyopathy is seen after intense emotional or physical triggers. The authors present a 72-year-old woman who experienced acute substernal chest pain and dyspnea after an acupuncture session. Electrocardiogram revealed anterolateral ST elevations, and chest radiograph revealed pneumothorax.
