ABSTRACT

The article presents clinical observations of surgical treatment of patients with infectious aneurysms of the aorta and iliac arteries. Initially, the patients sought medical help for pain in the lumbar region. The examination revealed aneurysms of various localization, accompanied by a syndrome of systemic inflammatory response. An open surgery was chosen as the treatment strategy. One patient required reintervation after the first operation due to the formation of a pseudoaneurysm of the distal anastomosis. Both patients were discharged for outpatient treatment after massive antibacterial therapy and normalization of their parameters.
