ABSTRACT
Vascular anomalies are classified as malformations or tumors. Depending on the vascular anomaly's location, extent, genetics, and effect on the patient, symptoms may be managed surgically, medically, using interventional means, or with all modalities. Surgical resection requires extreme care and diligence to ensure maximal resection and patient safety. Recent advancements in genetics and treatment agents have helped physicians provide targeted medical therapies.
