Dataset on the prognostic value of fragmented QRS in pediatric heart diseases derived from a systematic review

ABSTRACT

The present paper describes comprehensive data from a systematic review of the prognostic implications of fragmented QRS (fQRS) in pediatric heart diseases. The systematic review was conducted based on PRISMA guidelines and involved a search using keywords in PubMed, Web of Science, EMBASE, Scopus, and Cochrane. After screening 5694 records, a total of nine studies were included. The data extracted by two authors consisted of the basic characteristics of the included studies, outcomes of interest such as ventricular function, arrhythmias, and major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE), as well as their associations with fQRS and the raw outcome data when reported in the included studies. This dataset consolidates the available evidence on fQRS into a structured format and may support secondary analyses, improve comparability across studies, and help clarify the prognostic role of fQRS in pediatric heart diseases. The dataset is publicly available for further research and reanalysis.
